Women of the Vine & Spirits (womenofthevine.com) opened and closed registration for a record 700 attendees to its annual Global Symposium in just 24 hours. The Symposium, the largest gathering of women in the alcohol beverage industry, takes place March 13-15, 2017 at the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, California.

For those unable to register or attend, event organizers have offered a first-ever opportunity to experience the Symposium’s high-level keynote speeches and panel discussions via live stream or on-demand. Live stream/on-demand tickets for members of the Women of the Vine & Spirits Alliance are $30 per person, $55 for non-members, and may be purchased at womenofthevine.com.

“It is an incredible achievement and we should all be very proud. To think that, two years ago, I was praying someone would show up – I’m speechless,” said Women of the Vine & Spirits Founder and President, Deborah Brenner. “Based on overwhelming demand, it’s clearer than ever that we have started a movement and together, we can change the face of the alcohol beverage industry.”

Both those who attend and those who view the Global Symposium from afar will hear from some of the alcohol beverage industry’s most sought-after motivators, entrepreneurs, and experts from across the globe, including keynote speakers Margareth (Maggie) Henriquez, President & CEO, Krug Maison de Champagne, France; Jeffery Tobias Halter, President, YWomen; Brandy Rand, Vice President, U.S. Marketing & Business Development, International Wine & Spirits Research (IWSR); Susana Balbo, Founder & Owner, Susana Balbo Wines, Argentina; Jeff Fromm, Partner at Ad Agency Barkley; Dr. Makaziwe (Maki) Mandela, CEO & Founder, House of Mandela, South Africa. Panel discussions will include multiple perspectives from across the alcohol beverage industry and beyond, and will cover such diverse topics as worldwide trends, success strategies, speaking with confidence and courage, consumer behavior, marketing luxury brands, women in leadership, wholesale, mentorship, brand management, and women in distilling.
