WSET Level 2 Online Courses with In-Person Exam, March 9, 2020

In partnership with WSET, Women of the Vine & Spirits is proud to offer a deeply discounted opportunity to Women of the Vine & Spirits Members to prepare and take their exams for WSET Level 2 in Wines and/or WSET Level 2 in Spirits.
Regularly priced at $800, Women of the Vine & Spirits Members can sign up for only $500 (+ $11.50 transaction fee). This includes your study materials, online course fees, and in-person tasting review and exam fees.
Members who wish to take advantage of this opportunity must register on or before January 21.

(Tasting Review & Exam to take place at the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, CA prior to the kick-off of the Women of the Vine & Spirits Global Symposium 2020)
WSET’s Online Classroom service runs regular courses throughout the year on its digital learning platform. The courses have been expertly designed by WSET to meet the same learning outcomes as provided in the classroom.
Both the Level 2 in Wines and Level 2 in Spirits courses are five weeks long and will prepare you to take the exam on Monday, March 9 before the Global Symposium kicks off!
Each course has a set start date of January 27 and finish date of March 1 along with guidelines on progression, however students are free to log-in and complete their learning hours at times that suit them.
Throughout the course the student has access to a subject-specialist educator who provides feedback on assigned exercises and responds to a student’s course related queries. Forums allow for students to interact with others on the same course.
Note: If you wish to take both the Level 2 Wines & Level 2 Spirits courses/exams, you may do so by registering for each course separately.
The Tasting Review & Exam Schedule for March 9 is as follows:
8:00 – 10:00 am: Level 2 Wines Tasting & Review
10:30 – 11:30 am: Level 2 Wines Exam
12:30 – 2:30 pm: Level 2 Spirits Tasting & Review
3:00 – 4:00 pm: Level 2 Spirits Exam
You do not have to be an attendee of the Global Symposium to participate in this opportunity! This is open to all WOTVS Members. However, please note that any events and activities taking place outside of this WSET Tasting & Exam, as part of the Global Symposium agenda, are reserved for Global Symposium attendees only.
COURSE DETAILS
Napa Valley Wine Academy will be the WSET Approved Program Provider facilitating the Level 2 Award in Wines and the Level 2 Award in Spirits online courses.
Napa Valley Wine Academy and the student enter into agreement under which the student will pay $500, and Napa Valley Wine Academy will register the candidate for access to the WSET Online Classroom for instruction in the Curriculum of the chosen qualification.
Payment Terms: To be paid in full upon registration.
Entrance Requirements: At least 21 years of Age
Schedule of Sessions: January 27th– March 1st, 2019
Length of Curriculum: Thirty (30) hours, including examination time of sixty (60) minutes.

REFUND POLICY
A student who cancels within seven (7) days of registering, but before instruction begins, receives a full refund of $500. The $11.50 transaction fee will not be refunded.
