Lisa Derman is an industry veteran having started her career as an alcohol beverage attorney in 1992 at the national law firm of McDermott, Will & Emery.  Over the years she has expanded her skills to include Strategy, HR, Operations, Finance, and most recently Commercial Management. 

She is currently the Vice President Division Manager at Edrington Americas with commercial responsibility for nineteen states in Northeast and Central United States.  Together with her team of 35 dedicated Regional Directors, Market Managers, and Brand Ambassadors, Lisa and team manage both Open and Control markets, Franchise markets, and over 25 individual Distributor houses.  

Lisa started with Edrington in 2016 as Vice President Division Manager for the Northeast Division before adding the Central Division in 2019.  Prior to Edrington she served as General Counsel for Absolut and Proximo.  Looking to expand on her legal experience she accepted a position at Stoli as Chief Operating Officer responsible for Legal, HR, Operations, and Finance.  She was also a founding partner in the launch of the mezcal brand Gem&Bolt.  When offered the opportunity to run the North East Division for Edrington, she jumped at the chance given the opportunity to focus on Luxury brand marketing while also following the company’s Giving More ethos. 

Lisa has always had a love for bourbon and horses having grown up on a cattle and horse farm in Kentucky.  She has turned that bourbon love into an appreciation and respect for scotch and cherishes her opportunities at Edrington to Give More by volunteering at the Tamerlaine Animal Sanctuary located in Montague, NJ.  She resides in Westfield, NJ with her husband and son, a high school senior.  She also has two daughters who have recently graduated from college.  Lisa enjoys travel, theater, and spending time at the lake with her family and two rescue dogs.

Jada Portela is a seasoned executive with a diverse background in Commercial, Marketing, Buying, Retail Operations, and Building Luxury Brands. 

She is the Vice President Division Manager at Edrington Americas with commercial responsibility for fifteen states in the Southern United States. 

Jada truly enjoys leading a team of 30.  She believes that people are the most important thing in an organization and gets so much out of bringing individuals together to work towards Edrington’s Vision and Mission. 

She started with Edrington in 2015 and held roles in Travel Retail, Latin America, and the Caribbean before moving into the US domestic business in 2019.   Prior to Edrington she spent twelve years at Starboard Cruise Services (A LVMH Company).  She worked across multiple categories and departments including Luxury Jewelry, Timepieces, Cosmetics, Fragrances, Spirits and more.  She bought from over 200+ suppliers throughout her career and Edrington’s ethos of Giving More always appealed to her.          

If you asked Jada what her “Why” is; that would be the Lotus House Women and Children’s Shelter.  www.lotushouse.org.  She volunteers most Friday evenings with her nine-year-old daughter.  They do crafts with the children while their mothers attend therapy.  Jada is grateful for Edrington’s encouragement to find your own personal cause. 

She resides in Miami, Florida and enjoys running, boating, traveling, and spending time with her husband and daughters.

Catherine Stanton Schiff has spent the past two plus decades in sales and marketing management in the alcohol beverage industry working on dozens of powerful spirit and wine brands. Catherine is in her eleventh year with Edrington, currently as the Director, National Accounts On Premise - Americas, representing a portfolio that includes The Macallan and Glenrothes, Brugal Rum, Tequila Partida and Wyoming Whiskey among others. Prior to Edrington, Catherine held Regional Sales Management positions at Bacardi USA, Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine, Beam Wine Estates and Pete’s Brewing Company.
