This month’s session: Air Quality Compliance: Strategic Insights for Wineries and Distilleries

Air quality compliance is a frequently overlooked yet high-risk operational gap in wineries and distilleries, particularly around fermentation, barrel rooms, boiler operations, grain handling, cleaning and sanitizing processes, and production expansions. Emissions such as carbon dioxide (CO₂), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), combustion byproducts, and particulate matter can create regulatory exposure, worker safety concerns, and permitting challenges if not proactively managed.

This presentation will help attendees:

  • Identify common air quality compliance risks specific to winery and distillery operations, including fermentation emissions, combustion sources, and process-related air contaminants
  • Understand practical strategies for monitoring, permitting, and controlling air emissions while supporting production efficiency and future growth
  • Reduce regulatory and safety risk while improving compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local air quality requirements

Who Should Attend: All Members.
