This month’s session: Machine Guarding: Identifying High-Risk Gaps in Wine & Distillery Operations

Machine guarding is one of the most common and recurring high risk safety gaps we see during audits particularly on bottling and canning lines, conveyors, crushers, presses, and maintenance equipment. These operations often require frequent operator interaction, cleaning, jam clearing, and changeovers, which increases exposure to moving parts, pinch points, and rotating equipment.

This presentation will help attendees:

  • Recognize common guarding deficiencies unique to wine and distillery production
  • Understand practical guarding solutions that support production, sanitation, and maintenance needs
  • Reduce injury risk while improving OSHA compliance and operational reliability

Who Should Attend: All Corporate Members.
