Cate Hardy joined The Wine Group as its fourth CEO in September 2020.  Cate has been a member of The Wine Group’s Board of Directors since 2016. She was the Chief Executive Officer of PCC Community Markets, a 13-store organic and specialty retail grocer, from 2015 to 2020. PCC, located in the Pacific Northwest, experienced significant sales and earnings growth in a highly competitive retail environment during Cate’s tenure as CEO. Prior to PCC, Cate spent nine years in leadership roles at Starbucks Coffee Company, including vice president roles in operations, supply chain, global product development, customer service, and store development.  Earlier in her career, Cate was with McKinsey & Company and Deloitte. Cate serves on the boards of Wine Institute, Ballast Point / Kings and Convicts, and Prima Wawona.  Cate earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.   

Emily Ingram is an accomplished executive with experience in all aspects of Human Resources.  Throughout her career, Emily has demonstrated her ability to assess complex situations and implement innovative solutions to address a variety of business needs.

Emily is a visionary who takes an idea and turns it into reality. She has helped transform organizations by developing and implementing talent strategies to build capability and ensure long-term competitive advantage.  She has accomplished this by building infrastructures and systems which help attract, select, retain, and reward top talent.  Her keen focus on developing and engaging the workforce has helped organizations grow their talent pipelines and retain high-potentials. She uses data to tell stories and enable informed decision making.

Emily is a skilled communicator with the passion to influence others.  She has successfully marketed her team’s work and demonstrated the value of their contributions. Over the years, Emily has developed high-performing teams who implement and execute solutions to drive business results.

Emily’s career includes tenure with Hyatt Hotels, Wyndham Worldwide, NBCUniversal and Delicato Family Wines.  She has worked in the corporate environment and in the field, for non-profit, public and private companies.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. She also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
