Level 2 Award in Wines

As part of our Strategic Alliance with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), Women of the Vine & Spirits will provide scholarships toward WSET course fees. The mutual alliance aims to improve the visibility of progression paths and opportunities for women in the wine and spirits industry. Applicants must specify which Level they would like to apply their Scholarship toward on the application where indicated.

This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines.

You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence. More details here.

The Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation will award 1 Scholarship for the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines.
The award amount is $900 USD.
