"Crafting a Better World" for Women in Wine, Beer & Spirits

The Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation, Ltd. 501(c)(3) is the charitable arm of Women of the Vine & Spirits.
The Foundation provides scholarships and awards for the purpose of helping women advance their careers in the food, wine, spirits, beer, or hospitality industries through education, leadership, and professional development, as well as fostering gender diversity and talent development across the industry at large.

Education and personal development are essential means of empowering and advancing women with the knowledge,
skills and self-confidence necessary to thrive in the alcohol beverage industry.

Your tax-deductible donation to the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation can be a life-changing opportunity
with far-reaching impact beyond financial assistance. Educational achievements have
positive ripple effects within the family and across generations.

Your donation, large or small, makes an impact!
For as little as $300, your donation can help a woman earn an industry certification.

Thanks to our generous donors, the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation is cultivating leaders, feeding the talent pipeline
and attracting more people to our industry.

Your Donations Are Making a Difference!

"Winning the Women of the Vine and Spirits Award is such a vote of confidence and I am proud to be part of such an admirable community of ambitious women chasing their dreams. This award will be immensely helpful for me to build my industry knowledge and I am so grateful for the support towards professional development." – Tiffany Jay, Women of the Vine & Spirits WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits Scholarship Recipient, 2020 (San Mateo, CA)

“I am immensely honored to have been selected as a recipient of the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation Educational Scholarship. Through this generous support, I will be able to continue my research to better understand the differences among vineyards and why certain wines age better than others. Ultimately it is my hope that small producers will benefit from the outcomes of my studies to enhance the quality of their wines. Being awarded with this scholarship means less anguish and more security. More time and energy that I will be able to dedicate to my research project as well as learning new things every day. Adversities in my life made me very appreciative of every type of support that comes my way and are the reason why I am so grateful for being awarded with this scholarship.” – Isadora Frias de Locio e Silva, Women of the Vine & Spirits Educational Scholarship Recipient, 2018 (Santa Rosa, CA)

“Winning the Women of the Vine & Spirits scholarship means that I can focus on perfecting my service at my job, instead of worrying about making enough money to survive day to day, and I am very grateful.” – Shirley Muswema, Women of the Vine & Spirits WSET Level 3 Award in Wines Scholarship Recipient, 2018 (Cape Town, South Africa)

“Being awarded this scholarship has been a wonderful testament to the commitment that organizations committed to diversity and equality around the world have made to ensuring that women and minorities are given opportunities to pursue career enhancing pursuits that are often seemingly out of reach.” – Lisa Nguyen, Women of the Vine & Spirits WSET Level 1 Award in Sake Scholarship Recipient , 2018 (New Orleans, LA)
