“Thank you for allowing me to participate in this game-changer in the industry."

What Does it Mean to be Certified
Being a Women-Owned company means that you are at least 51 percent owned, managed and controlled by a woman or group of women. Being Certified means your company has been WBENC or WEConnect International Certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).
Women of the Vine & Spirits DOES NOT certify companies. The 51 percent qualifier is established by the guidelines and stipulations of the certifying bodies, WBENC and WEConnect International.
Why is Certification Important?
Women control over $20 trillion of annual consumer spending globally.
In the United States, women influence or manage 85% of all consumer purchases.
A study America’s largest retailer (Walmart) conducted of its shoppers found that 90% of female customers in the US would go out of their way to purchase
Walmart's study showed products with the women-owned logo were perceived to have “high quality”.

“BuzzBallz, LLC is thrilled to be part of Women of the Vine & Spirits. We will gain the attention of wholesalers and retailers for our unique brands and nimble capabilities. BuzzBallz has been a registered NWBOC organization since 2015, and WBENC since 2016. Both organizations have been helpful in growing our business, but having a specific alcohol industry women-owned certification through Women of the Vine & Spirits will assist BuzzBallz to compete with larger suppliers.”

Vice President of Marketing, Buzzballs, LLC
“Across the globe, women continue to earn, on average, less than one percent of the trillions of dollars spent on suppliers by large corporations and governments. WEConnect International’s new partnership with Women of the Vine & Spirits helps to bridge this gap, connecting more women-owned businesses, in more industries, to the resources, education, and networks needed to succeed in global value chains.”
– Elizabeth A. Vazquez
CEO & Co-Founder, WeConnect International
