Cecilia Dones is a 15+ year Data and Marketing Analytics Evangelist. Her interests lie in the intersection of technology, data, and how people and organizations make decisions. She has extensive experience in driving change in both large and small organizations. She is an expert in maximizing value from data by delivering quick analytical wins, operational excellence, and long-term advantage with analytical innovation. She is passionate about shaping ideas at the convergence of data and people with the purpose of enabling others to create value and meaning with data.

 

Cecilia began her career in digital advertising analyzing display, search and web analytics. Her curiosity in understanding how consumers are influenced by marketing led her to add on additional marketing channels over time, eg. TV, Magazines, Newspapers, Customer Relationship Management, Content, eCommerce. Her curiosity also led her to spend 3 years in the UK understanding the Western European market working on Global business.

 

She was most recently named in the 2022 Global Data Power Women list.

 

Her most recent interests are related to the technology of wearables, the implications of ubiquitous sensors, and the effects on how people connect to each other and brands.

 

Cecilia earned her Bachelor’s in Marketing and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business where she also minored in Psychology and East Asian Studies. Cecilia also earned her Master’s in Statistics from Columbia University. She is currently finishing her doctoral studies focused on Immersive Digital Environments and its impacts on Interpersonal Relationships and Consumer Psychology. She is expected to complete her doctoral degree in 2024.

As Glenmorangie and Ardbeg Brand Ambassador for Moët Hennessy, Lisa Pope loves sharing the history of both brands with novice and experienced Scotch drinkers alike. With almost 20 years of experience in hospitality, she started her career in the wine and spirits industry in 2005, working with embassies, private clubs, fine-dining restaurants and military bases and has held corporate roles with national and global hospitality groups. She holds an MBA in Global Business from HULT International Business School from the London, UK and Dubai, UAE campuses, has a WSET Wine & Spirits Level II with Distinction certification and is currently studying for the WSET Level III and the EWA Scotch Whisky Diploma

A recovering developer, user experience designer, and occasional illustrator, Nelly has extensive experience in digital strategy and emerging technologies. Having consulted multiple Fortune 100 companies, startups, and non-profits in a variety of industries across three continents, Nelly is a skilled facilitator who is able to distill ideas into distinct concepts. She has led multiple IT projects and is able to swiftly transition between the worlds of business, technology, and design. At MIT Sloan, she focused on technology management, retail innovation, as well as conscious leadership.

Charlotte joined BlockBar since its inception and leads the global PR, digital and communications efforts, marketing operations, events and brand partnerships. Taking the business from a disruptive start-up to a major player within the luxury wine and spirits sector recognised by LVMH, whilst pathing the way to democratising an industry that needed to pivot to engage a younger and digitally savvy consumer. In 2020, Charlotte was named in the Walpole Power List as one of the 50 most influential people in British luxury. Charlotte is passionate about championing women in the wine, spirits and blockchain industry.
