Join us to hear from Kimberly Betts and Marin Heiskell from Deloitte Consulting, who are pushing business towards a more equitable future! Kimberly and Marin will provide us with an overview of their report, The Equity Imperative, and lead a discussion around why activating equity across the workforce, business, and society is important for companies now. 

We will explore various case studies and introduce Deloitte’s Equity Activation Model – illustrating high-impact areas where all C-Suite and business leaders can exert their influence in driving measurable change toward equity.

The Session Will Provide an Overview of the Key Findings from Deloitte’s Equity Imperative Report:

  • Why equity now? - Discover the problem of inequity in American business and society and the case for why the business community should lead the way toward equity

Kimberly is a Consumer/Retail industry veteran with over 25 years of experience driving Diversity Equity and Inclusion Transformations, Change Management, Human Resources, Workforce Transition, Organization Design, Performance Development, Training, and Communications.

 

She is currently a Managing Director with Deloitte Consulting’s Retail practice as well as the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lead for Deloitte’s Consumer division. 

One of Kimberly’s personal and professional missions, is to create more inclusive organizations, and drive more equitable outcomes for historically marginalized people of all identities, against a backdrop of greater social justice.

Marin is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Human Capital Workforce Transformation practice with a broad range of experience across the automotive, retail, consumer products, and travel/hospitality sectors. Her expertise expands across change management and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), specifically communications and talent strategy, learning and leadership development.

As an industry leader in the DEI Practice, Marin has led several DEI engagements and initiatives at Deloitte, including overseeing the design and rollout of new DEI strategies, eminence and learning modules, managing DEI recruitment and retention programs, and serving as a strategic advisor to key DEI partners and clients.
