H-E-B is an American privately held supermarket chain based in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 340 stores throughout the U.S. state of Texas, as well as in northeast Mexico.

After receiving her MBA from the University of Notre Dame, Karen started her career in retail as a buyer for Target in both eCommerce and Brick and Mortar in the Home division. Following a move to Central California, she found her way into the wine world as Senior Manager for Wine Clubs and eCommerce for two sister wineries – one in Paso Robles and the other in Sonoma. Having caught the wine bug, she was honored to continue her career in retail in the industry with H-E-B two years ago as the Business Development Manager for Wine. Karen currently resides in San Antonio, TX with her husband and an active 2 year old son and they are expecting their second child this Fall.
