Celia Maestri was born in Mexico City. Her parents, José Villanueva and Celia Barragán founded "Licores Veracruz", one of the greatest Hispanic liquor factories in Mexico. Inspired by their example, she created "Casa Maestri" along with her husband Michael.
Celia achieved the American dream and has more than 36 years tracing an indeleble legacy in the wine and spirits industry; specially tequila. Today, Casa Maestri is the number one tequila private label exporter in the world and has designed the most desirable tequilas in the market.
Celia is committed to produce the best tequilas in Mexico, leaving a legacy of hard work, honesty and a great example for future generations to come.
In addition, Mina manages and produces one of the nation’s largest and most
prestigious Private Equity and Investment Banking Conference. She brings together
hundreds of Wall Street dealmakers to buy, sell and deploy capital across various
ventures and initiatives. In addition, Mina works with world leaders, publishing
houses, CEOs from Fortune 100 on communication, marketing and public relations
strategy.
Mina was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and immigrated to the US when she
was 5 yearls old. She grew up in the city of Los Angeles near Dodger Stadium. She
graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mount St.
Mary’s College in Brentwood, California and has a Executive Digital Marketing
certification from Columbia University. Mina servers on the Board of Governors for
Hollygrove, The Clinton Foundation (Ambassador) and The Anastasia Brighter
Horizons Foundation. Mina is also an inventor and is a patent holder for the box
design of Dragos Cantina RTD packaging.
