Dorothy Schuler started Bodegas Paso Robles with their first vintage of 300 cases in 2002. Her focus is on Spanish varietals, including albarino, tempranillo, grassiano and cabernet blends.

Her desire to be different seems to be paying off. The 2005 Albarino recently won the National Women’s Wine Competition Gold Best of Class. Schuler is making her wines at Zenaida Cellars on Highway 46 West, and she does all the winemaking.
Dorothy is a Board Member for Ag Adventures of the Central Coast to promote agricultural tourism.
